back to boardCommon BoardMemory Problem for Pascal I'm wondering about pascal memory system. Why does the following code use so much memory? var a : array [1..150000] of longint; begin fillchar(a , sizeof(a) , 0); end. The status says "memory used : 957kb" , while i consider it should be 600kb. Who can tell me why? Re: Memory Problem for Pascal Posted by gufy 30 Mar 2004 20:09 i guess it takes a bit of memory to link and compile your program... Re: Memory Problem for Pascal Do you mean, for any problem, we can't use the full memory as the problem says, but about 300kb less than it? |
