malloc.h
Posted by hemmul 31 Oct 2004 02:23
hey! what's going on? aren't we allowed to use <malloc.h> in the programs??? i have tried to submit a problem, but always received compilation error (however it compiles well in VC++ 6.0 and 7) The reason is
#include <malloc.h>
- without it the program proceeds...
but i don't know of alternative headers for malloc realloc and _msize
so?

ok, realloc and malloc can be equally used from stdlib.h
so the problem is now for the _msize(void*) function. it needs <malloc.h> and nothing more. the program compiles everywhere i checked it. but not on this site :( am i doing something wrong? can i use malloc.h?
